Brint Anderson is an American guitarist, active in rock, funk and rhythm and blues bands since the 1970s.
Anderson is originally from Natchez, Mississippi, where he played with the bands The Shades and Blue John. He moved to Austin, Texas in 1981 where he formed the band Coupe De Ville. Coupe became the backing band for Dr. John, which led Anderson to move to New Orleans, Louisiana in 1992. In New Orleans, he joined George Porter, Jr’s Runnin’ Pardners and formed his own group The Brint Anderson Band.
